1. 01

   Type as a moving part

   Archivo is a variable font, and its width axis is treated as an animation channel rather than a style choice: the boot counter widens as it accelerates, the live row of the film stretches, and headings settle into their width instead of fading in.

2. 02

   Motion with a brake

   Every sequence is registered through a GSAP matchMedia gate, so prefers-reduced-motion isn't a disclaimer — it changes what gets built. Reduced motion gets the same information with the movement removed.

3. 03

   A content system that refuses to lie

   Every fact the site can't verify renders as a visible [ADD …] marker instead of plausible filler. The placeholders you find are the system working: unknown stays unknown until Abhi says otherwise.

4. 04

   Static, on purpose

   Every page is prerendered at build time — the archive, the project pages, the lab, the rooms — so the heaviest thing on the wire is the typeface, not a framework waiting to fetch its own content.
